The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) on Friday intercepted a truck laden with tramadol, codeine and other contraband drugs valued at over N5bn.

The National Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Assist. Comptroller Joseph Attah, disclosed this to newsmen during an inspection of the warehouse where the trucks of the intercepted items were parked at the Ikeja Training College of the service in Lagos.
