As part of efforts to calm frayed nerves, the Lagos State Government has compiled a list of policemen being prosecuted in the state for extrajudicial killings and human rights abuses.

This was announced in a public notice released by the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Moyosore Onigbanjo SAN.

“I wish to inform members of the public that the Lagos State Ministry of Justice has been committed over time to the prosecution of the listed related cases of police abuses.

“I call on members of the public to keep track of our ongoing diligent prosecution of those matters in the overall public interest,” Onigbanjo said.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has consistently maintained his administration’s commitment to prosecuting the erring officers whose atrocities led to the EndSARS protests in the first place.
