Lagos Police Arrest Pretty Mike Over Noncompliance To COVID-19 Protocols

The Nigerian police has arrested popular socialite, Pretty Mike for the continuous breach of COVID-19 protocols by Cubana Nightclub.

According to The Nation, Pretty Mike is alleged to be a director in the Cubana group and went to the Bar Beach Police Division on Thursday morning, March 4, following last weekend’s arrest of 172 workers and clubbers at the Victoria Island branch of the nightclub.

The police on Monday, March 1, vowed to arrest the club owners or anyone who came forward to push the reopening of the nightclub as the club had consistently violated the COVID19 protocols.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Hakeem Odumosu who confirmed the news said Pretty Mike would be charged to court after he denied being a director at the club.

He said: “Yes, we have arrested him and I have directed he be transferred to Ikeja where he would be charged to court”

Meanwhile, A Los Angeles court has dismissed David Adefeso’s restraining order filed against his ex-wife, Tamar Braxton.

According to TMZ, the reality star and her ex failed to attend the Tuesday hearing, leading the court to dissolve the legal arrangement.

In September 2020, Adefeso filed  for a restraining order against Tamar, who is the younger sister of R&B staple Toni Braxton amid claims that she had made death threats against him, and had assaulted him while he was driving.

During an interview on the Tamron Hall Show last October, Tamar Braxton denied her ex’s claims.
