LASTMA official seizes lady’s phone for recording his alleged illegal activity (video)

A video in which  an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority was spotted dragging a phone with a lady who tried recording an alleged illegal activity/extortion he was reportedly carrying out.

Twitter user @MrMan who shared the video said the incident occurred at Alagomeji busstop and the traffic official allegedly ended up destroying the lady’s phone.

Meanwhile, The Herald reported that

A tricycle rider, John Fabunmi, on Friday appeared before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly beating  a personnel of  the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and dragging him into a gutter  while on duty.

Fabunmi, who resides at No 3/5 Isheri Road Egbeda, Lagos, is facing a four-count-charge bordering on assault, unlawful damage and breach of peace.

He, however, pleaded not guilty. The  defendant committed the offences on June 15 at 8.30a.m. at Aguda Bus Stop, Ogba, Lagos, according to the prosecutor,  ASP Akeem Raji.

“Some of the juicy options are investments in fundamentally justified equities, fixed placement with very competitive returns, US Dollar investments ethical investments, GB Pounds investments and real-estate backed investments (with bi-annual returns).”
