Senate President Ahmed Lawan has sworn in Owelle Rochas Okorocha as the senator representing Imo West senatorial district.
The former Imo governor was not inaugurated with his colleagues in the Red Chamber on Tuesday because he had yet to collect his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Recall that Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja, on Friday, ordered the commission to immediately issue the certificate of return to Okorocha as the senator-elect for Imo West Senatorial District.
