Mustapha Rabe, representing Mai’adua Constituency in Katsina State House of Assembly, has commenced the disbursement of N4.8 million to people in his constituency for Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Mustapha (APC) told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday that the gesture, which also included 300 bags of rice, was to assist orphans and the less privileged in Mai’adua.

He said that each of the 500 beneficiaries, which cut across the 10 wards, would get N5,000 each, while the remaining money would be shared by APC stakeholders in the constituency.
He urged the people to celebrate with modesty and ensure they practise proper hygiene and social distancing during the celebration.
He enjoined the people to use Eid-el-Fitr to offer special prayers to Almighty Allah to overpower the COVID-19 pandemic in Katsina, Nigeria and the world at large.
