Laycon becomes traditional chief in Ogun

Next time you see BBNaija Season 5 winner, Agbelese Olamilekan aka Laycon, call him a “chief”.

This is as the rapper has been recently bestowed with the traditional title of Akeweje of Ipokia kingdom, in Ogun State.

Oba Yisa Adesola Olaniyan, who is the Onipokia of Ipokia, bestowed the title on the popular reality TV star.

Oba Olaniyan had described Laycon as a good ambassador of the kingdom and an inspiration to Nigerian youths.

Laycon won the last BBNaija Lockdown Edition to wide applause from around the African continent.

He was a recipient of N85 million prize in cash and other perks.

The reality show winner has also received several gifts since his emergence as the winner, including an appointment by the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, who also gave him a house in the capital, Abeokuta.

Meanwhile, the rapper announced late 2020 that his debut album would be released in 2021.
