A Lebanese man identified as Wael Jerro who put up a Nigerian lady for sale on Facebook has been found and arrested.

The good news was disclosed by the Chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri via twitter. She disclosed that the arrest of the man will be followed by prosecution on charges of criminal sales of another human being.

Wael Jerro posted the international passport of a female Nigerian National on a Lebanese commerce group on Facebook announcing that she was for sale calling for prospective buyers in Arabic.

This has attracted the rage of Nigerians on social media who demanded for justice.

Wael was arrested after a manhunt was carried out by authorities in Lebanon as well as the Nigerian Mission there.
