The operators of the Lekki Toll Gate, Lekki Concession Company (LCC), has submitted video footage captured by its CCTV camera on Tuesday, October 20 to the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses & Lekki Toll Gate Incident.
Recall that soldiers allegedly opened fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the toll gate that day.
The company had last week assured the panel that it was ready to present the footage if called upon to do so.
The footage was presented by LCC’s Managing Director, Abayomi Omomuwa on Tuesday, two weeks after the incident.
While presenting the evidence to the panel, the LCC boss said, “I can confirm that inside here is the video footage that our surveillance camera was able to record for the 20th of October.”
