National Orientation Agency has warned Nigerian Pilgrims going for the lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia to strictly adhere to the health instructions by the authorities in the country to avoid contracting the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).
NOA said apart from the pilgrims, individuals and business owners travelling to countries like China and South Korea must heed to health advice on the precautionary measure against MERS.
Director General of the agency, Mike Omeri in a statement said sensitization messages have been designed and distributed to various local government offices of NOA for onward passage to the intending pilgrims.
