Liverpool First Team Player Admits Assaulting Girlfriend

Liverpool first team player, Jon Flanagan has pleaded guilty to assaulting his girlfriend, Rachael Wall.

The incident occurred at the Liverpool city centre in the morning of December 22, 2017.

Flanagan was caught on CCTV camera assaulting the lady with whom he had an 18-month relationship, and even kicking her once.

Before a magistrate at Liverpool Magistrate’s Court, the 25-year-old pleaded guilty to common assault.

He was said to be drunk during the incident.

He was released by a judge on conditional bail ahead of a January 17 sentencing.

Flanagan has made over 50 appearances for Liverpool since his debut at the age of 18.

He has only played for Liverpool’s first team once this season.
