Long Shot: Guardiola Wants Neymar At Man City

Though he is still officially the manager of German champions, Bayern Munich, Pep Guardiola has reportedly tipped Barcelona star and FIFA Ballon D’Or nominee, Neymar as his top transfer priority when he takes over at Manchester City.

According to Goal.com, quoting Spanish newspaper Sport, Guardiola allegedy signed for  Manchester City on November 26, and is expected to take over next summer.

Recall that Bayern have already announced Carlo Ancelotti as Guardiola’s replacement when the 44-year-old Spaniard’s contract expires at the end of the current season, following his decision not to renew.

Also, Sport reported that Guardiola had commenced the process of compiling names of potential targets when he eventually takes over.
