Romelu Lukaku’s brace helped Inter Milan to a comfortable victory over Cagliari when the two met in Coppa Italia.

Lukaku’s first goal came after just 21 seconds capitalising on an horrendous backpass by Christain Olivia and Borja Valero made it 2 for the host with a simple tap-in after 22 minutes.

The Belgian has now scored 18 in 25 games for the Italian side after a difficult spell at Manchester United.

Defending champions Lazio cruised to a 4-0 victory over Serie B strugglers CremoneseItaly international Ciro Immobile scoring from the spot in the comfortable victory.

Elsewhere on Tuesday, Lorenzo Insigne scored 2 from the penalty spot to help Napoli beat Perugia. The latter had their own chance from the penalty spot but were denied by David Ospina.
