Mad Melon of the Danfo Driver singing duo has died from an undisclosed illness. The Artiste died in the early hours of today, September 26th, 2019 in a Lagos hospital.
Mad Melon whose real name is Omeofa Oghene has been battling with the undisclosed illness for a while now.
The singer became famous in 2003 after the release of the hit Single “Danfo Driver”

Music star Daddy Showkey broke the news of Mad Melon’s demise on his Instagram page. He recorded a video where he was seen saying;
“What kind of sad news is this, what kind of sad news is this, what kind of sad news is this, Oh my God, we just lost somebody, I just heard it just now. I’m not happy at all, I’m not happy. When dem go dey tell people make dem dey hear, make dem dey hear.”
