Liverpool ace, Mo Salah has heaped praises on Real Madrid and Barcelona, refusing to rule out the likelihood of joining either Spanish giants in the nearest future.

The 28-year-old Egyptian joined Liverpool in 2017 for a then-club record fee of £36.9 million from Roma, which he helped to second-placed finish and a club record points-tally.

Since arriving in Anfield, Mo Salah has helped the club hit another golden era – with a UEFA Champions League and Premier League title each.

However, in a chat with AS, he stated that his future with Liverpool was solely in the club’s hands.

Asked if he could join Real Madrid or Barcelona, Mo Salah said, “I think Madrid and Barcelona are top clubs… We never know what is going to happen in the future, but right now I’m focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League again with my club.”

Asked how much longer he could play for Liverpool, Mo Salah said, “That’s a tough one, but right now I can say that everything is in the club’s hands.

“Of course I want to break records here and, I repeat, every record in the club, but everything’s in the hands of the club.”
