A teacher has reportedly suffocated a six-year-old pupil to death for making noise in class.

The student, Guo Jintong was suffocated to death after her teacher “taped and glued” her mouth for creating disturbance.

The teacher was reported to have glued Jintong’s mouth leading to her death after paramedics ascertained the school girl dead at the Huadian Experimental Kindergarten.

The Sun UK reports that witnesses at the school in Huadian City, located in the north-eastern China’s Jilin Province, said that Jintong was deemed to be disturbing as her class did stretches and aerobic exercise. The teacher however in a bid to halt the chatty pupil’s mouth was reported to effectively smothered the young girl to death with the tape and glue.

While gagged and before her death, the young girl was reported to have continued jumping around with the rest of her class but upon realization that she appeared abnormal, she was taken to the school nurse who called an ambulance.

Upon reaching the hospital, doctors were reported to have been unable to save her.

Government officials have confirmed the incident as investigations have been launched into the case by local police.
