Senator for Kogi West in the 8th Senate, Senator Dino Melaye, says the demise of former Women Affairs Minister, Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan aka Mama Taraba was a case of death leaving the wicked to take the good.

He stated this in a tweet on Saturday morning.

Recall that Mama Taraba died aged 61 in Cairo, Egypt on Friday.

Since the news broke, many prominent Nigerians, including President Muhammadu Buhari, paid tributes to the senator and former governorship candidate in Taraba State.

In a message her personally signed, Melaye wrote, “Anti Aisha, Man Woman, oh what a vain world. Death will take the good and leave the wicked. What a loss! You were a good woman, amiable and loving. My chief adviser is gone. May your beautiful soul rest in peace. Your infectious smile will be planted in my head for life.”
