Champions Liverpool are looking to make it two in two as they gun for another Champions League title to add to their illustrious six trophies

The draws for the Champions League last 16 has been held and teams by now know their fate. Here’s a quick rundown. We look at the biggest ties that will shape the last 16 and all of the other ties that will grace our televisions when the league resumes in February.
First off, Pep Guardiola’sManchester City will face Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid. It’s the first time the two men are meeting as managers which other than the parade of stars and top footballing talents that will be on show in this tie gives the match more prospects and make it all the more anticipated. Two very successful managers, two big teams and two dates, two cities. This is one to look forward to.
Liverpool will face Atletico Madrid meaning the two biggest teams in the EPL will at one time travel to Spain in the last 16 encounters and will also play host to Spanish oppositions. Atletico Madrid missed on the chance to have their inscription carved unto the Champions League trophy a few years back when they were beaten by neighbour’s Real Madrid.
Chelsea will take on Bayern Munich in what will be a repeat of the blue’s 2012 Champions League winning fixture. Tottenham Hotspur will match up to RB Leipzig.
Borussia Dortmund will play Paris-Saint Germain while Barcelona will find themselves travelling to Italy for the third year in a row where they will take on Napoli.
