A 21 year-old man has been molested by residents of a South Eastern community in Nigeria after he was allegedly caught poisoning his twin brother’s meal for ritual purposes.
The suspect was nabbed by community members after his twin brother raised an alarm on the weird change of colour in the soup.
Upon questioning, the 21-year-old man confessed he poisoned the soup to use his twin brother for money ritual because he was tired of living a poverty-stricken life.
Residents of the community paraded the suspect in a walk of shame, forcing him to carry the pot of poisoned soup on his head. They made him eat one poisoned meat before force-feeding him with palm oil, an antidote of the poison.
