A certain Mr Akinbola Olanrewaju was accused of claiming he lost his sister in order to get “pity knacks.”
Mr Akinbola posted his ex-girlfriend on his Whats App status as his sister and made it available for just one person to view. The person was a friend of a friend to his ex. The person later relayed the information to her and she was taken aback by the discovery as she was very much alive.

@ms_Onoja also twitted “@Mr_Akinbola is the most pathetic person you can associate with ladies. He legit claimed my friend (his ex), is his sister for pity knacks. My friend is very much alive and so is his sister. This guy legit blocked us and everyone that knows her.”
After a while, the supposed dead girlfriend, Miss Omotunde Oluwatomisin Ipaye, took to her Twitter account to state that she was very much alive and not dead in a note she posted. She made it known that this was not the first time he, Akinbola would engage in such an act. He once lied about the death of his brother in order not to see a friend.
In her note, she stated that “forgiveness and grace is different from enablement,” and that was why she was going to expose him. She also said if she had called him out on various occasions when he misbehaved maybe it would not have escalated to the point where he would claim her to be his dead sister.
Is this how far people would go to have sex? This issue has raised a lot of concern from various people online. Some seem to be concerned about his mental state while others insulted him, claiming he could have found a better way of getting sex rather than use the death of someone.
Akinbola has deleted all his social media accounts and in the screenshot shared by Oluwatomisin of a chat between him and her friend he claimed they were not better than him. He said “you just publicly disgraced me of all people, I really expected you to eventually block me and insult me. But realizing what you did on twitter makes you just as pathetic as myself.”
