Man Finds 50,000 Euros In Second-Hand-Purchase Wardrobe

A man in Germany carried out  a noble act of returning the sum of 50,000 euros (approximately 19 million naira) along with financial documents he found hidden inside an old wardrobe he purchased second-hand.

The Syrian refugee reported the discovery to the Police who in turn took the investigation up and have since been in search of the real owners.

According to Germany’s Bild newspaper, Muhannad M, 25, recently relocated to Germany and had since been out to cheaply furnish his apartment.

Speaking about the discovery, Muhannad M said: “I am Muslim. This money, I could not keep to myself. Allah would never allow it, to finance your own interests with someone else’s property.”
