Manchester United have opened talks to sign highly-rated French youth international Enzo Kana Biyik from Ligue 1 side Le Havre, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The 18-year-old striker, who is the son of former Cameroon international and Le Havre legend André Kana-Biyik, is seen as a talent for the future. Romano revealed on Thursday night that the Premier League club has made contact with the player’s representatives.
“Manchester United have made contact to sign Enzo Kana Biyik as talent for the future from Le Havre,” Romano posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account. He added that discussions are ongoing for Kana Biyik to potentially join Lausanne, a Swiss club also owned by INEOS, Manchester United’s new co-owners.

Although a deal has not yet been finalized, Biyik is expected to become one of the first players transferred between INEOS-owned clubs. Reports suggest that if the move to Manchester United goes through, the teenager will initially be loaned out, likely to Lausanne, to continue his development.
Kana Biyik has drawn attention in France’s youth leagues for his pace, positioning, and technical ability, and United are looking to secure his services as part of their long-term rebuilding strategy under the INEOS sporting project.
