The Hot romance between international singer Mariah Carey and Australian billionaire James Packer has taken a new dimension – they just got serious and are madly in love.
The Australian billionaire is said to have proposed to the American singer, seven months after they were first they were first spotted together at a holiday in Italy.
“A close friend of Mr. Packer confirmed the couple were engaged and said they were over the moon that James has found such happiness with Mariah,” reports gathered.
James Packer’s family made millions through the media industry, before Packer ventured into the casino industry.
He owns one of Australia’s gaming and entertainment groups, Crown Resorts worth about $3.5 billion, Packer, 48, is Australia’s fourth richest man, according to the Forbes Rich List.
The 45 years old Mariah is one of the best-selling music artists of all time and she has dominated the entertainment industry for decades.
On a U.S. talk show, Mariah Carey explained they met at the Hercules premiere in Aspen she described how they got together. She also said at first people were not supportive of their relationship so they parted until now.
