Mariah Carey Reportedly ‘Planning Extravagant Wedding’ To Billionaire Fiancée James Packer

She said ‘yes’ to marrying billionaire beau James Packer just two weeks ago after just eight months of dating.

Now Mariah Carey has reportedly begun planning her extravagant wedding to the Australian businessman.

Woman’s Day claims the 45-year-old diva wants everything from rides, fireworks, elephants and a statue of herself for her big day. ‘She wants carnival rides and a giant circus with baby elephants, white tigers, jugglers, acrobats and clowns,’ a friend of the hit maker allegedly told the publication. There will be fireworks, a marching band and a flyover by military aircraft.’

While going into detail about the items on Mariah’s wish list for her wedding day, the source added that the Butterfly star also wants a ‘mermaid statue of herself’ created especially for the special event.

But while it seems the mother-of-two will have anything and everything for the nuptials, she also has a big surprise install for her husband-to-be.

‘She’s also planning to serenade James with a special version of We Belong Together,’ the source told the Australian magazine.

The magazine also speculates that Mariah may walk down the aisle in the Bahamas at her family mansion. However, last week Daily Mail Online exclusively learned she and James are making plans for a huge bash at a private retreat on Australia’s Hayman Island near the Great Barrier Reef.

Meanwhile, the singer opened up to E! News over the weekend about her sudden engagement to James, gushing about her 35-carat diamond ring.

‘It’s so heavy I can’t lift my arm up! No…it’s a nice chunk,‘ she gloated to the network. This will be the third marriage for Mariah, who tied the knot with Tommy Mottola in 1993 before divorcing him five years later.

She later wed Nick Cannon, but the pair are yet to finalise their divorce. The former couple share twins Monroe and Moroccan.

Meanwhile, James tied the knot with Jodhi Meares in 1999, but called it quits three years later. He later married Erica Packer in 2007 but the duo went their separate ways in 2013.
