Nigerians have taken social media by storm to express solidarity with and congratulate kidnapped schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu on her 16th birthday.

Sharibu, who was kidnapped alongside some other girls at the Government Technical College, Dapchi in Yobe State has so far spent 449 days in Boko Haram captivity for refusing to renounce her Christian faith.

Some prominent Nigerians that took to the social media to wish Sharibu a happy birthday and pray for her release are Founder of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman; Senator representing Borno South, Sen. Ali Ndume; Senator representing Bayelsa East, Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce; former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi-Kayode; ex-presidential aide, Reno Omokri; and international flutist, Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli.
