Nigerians have taken to social media to react to President Muhammadu Buhari’s announcement of a change of name for the Abuja National Stadium.
Delivering his Democracy Day speech at the Eagle Square, Abuja today, the president announced that the stadium would now be known as the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
Many Nigerians took to social media to hail the announcement, calling for the name change to also bring a face-lift to the “dilapidated” stadium.
