Mbappe score two as PSG sees off Monaco’s challenge

1 Min Read

Kylian Mbappe scored in the 24th and 91st minute to help PSG to an emphatic victory over used-to-be-rivals AS Monaco.

The two sides met three days ago at the Perc des Princes and that was more of a contest than this as the team’s evened out at 3-3.

Neymar’s penalty and Sarabi’s goal gave PSG the second and third respectively before Mbappe added his second of the game and PSG’s fourth in additional time to wrap up the encounter.

Tiemoue Bakayoko got one back for the hosts just before Mbappe’s second but it proved only a consolation as PSG ran riot.

The 21-year-old has now scored 13 goals in 14 appearances one behind Monaco’s Ben Yedder who is the league’s leading goalscorer.

The world cup winner played for Monaco between 2014 to 2018.
