Meek Mill has called out Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine over having fake YouTube views on their latest music video, TROLLZ.
Tekashi 6ix9ine earlier took to his social media page to announce that TROLLZ music video which he collaborated with Nicki Minaj beat his previous record for the biggest 24-hour debut.
However, YouTube quickly released a statement to shut down this claim, saying, “TROLLZ” came in 6.4 million views short of surpassing the record. YouTube went on to describe how views are tallied, explaining that only “organic sources” are used to count towards the total.
Meek Mill reacting to YouTube’s statement took to his twitter to throw a subtle shade at Nicki Minaj and Tekashi 6ix9ine.
He tweeted: “Numbers do lie… who made that up?”
Although Meek Mill didn’t mention Tekashi directly, it was clear who he was referring to.
Tekashi 6ix9ine reacting to the tweet said: “64 Speaks”. The comment referred to Meek Mills place on the Billboard Hot 100 after his release of “Otherside of America” last week.
