South African Businesswoman Becomes The First Black Woman To Own An Airline

South African business woman, Sizakele Petunia Mzimela, has made history after working in the aviation field for many years.

The South African woman made history as the first black woman to launch and own an Airline.

The owner of Fly Blue Crane airline population referred to as Siza, kicked off operations on her airline at the O.R. Tambo International Airport in South Africa.

Not ignoring humble beginnings, the airline has to its name two 50-seat ERJ 145s. The airline also offers low-cost domestic flights within the South African region.

Siza highlighting her dreams for the airline made it known that she has hopes of expanding its operations to cover Botswana, Namibia,Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo in the near future.

The businesswoman also has to her name a well established aviation service company, Blue Crane Aviation, which provides African airlines with consulting services, legal services and aircraft management services.
