Odunlade Adekola is one of the fast rising and most loved Nollywood actor on screen, with awards, endorsements and other packages to show for, the multi award winning actor is not only diverse but multi-talented.
Born December 31st, 1977 in Abeokuta, Ogun State where he attended the Saint John RCM Primary school, he proceeded to Saint Peter’s college, also Abeokuta for his Secondary education.
Odunlade admitted to starting his acting career early in his life from his church, the Christ Apostolic Church, Lafenwa, Abeokuta, then with his friend, Tunde.
Tunde, being a part-time actor introduced Kola to a theatre group which rehearsed beside his house, he later got in contact with the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (now Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria) and became a full member in 1998 after his first movie debut.
Motivated by ace actors and actresses including Taiwo Hassan, Adebayo Salami, Lere Paimo, and other genius Yoruba actors in Nollywood, Adekola made his entrance into the professional scene in 2005 and met with big screen fame in 2007.
With training from the Late Isola Durojaiye aka Ahmed Alasari, who helped showcase the best in him, Odunlade Adekola has starred in many Movies, some of which are his works and boasts of almost 100 features in Yoruba Movies.
Odunlade is legally married to Ruth Adekola and blessed with three children.
