President Trump has been fighting fires ever since he took office over a year ago and it seems to in no way be slowing down.
In the latest White House saga, reports from the New York times indicate that Trump is in big trouble with the Mrs. who has been MIA ever since news broke that Trump had allegedly been in an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels.
It was also reported by the Wall Street Journal that Daniels was paid $130,000 just before the 2016 election to keep quiet about an affair she had had a decade earlier with Mr. Trump — when the Trumps were newlyweds, and while Mrs. Trump was pregnant with their son, Barron.
Ever since then the first lady has been quiet which has been in contrast with her past behaviour when she always came out in support of her husband.
When Trump was facing serious backlash in 2011 over his calls for President Obama to produce his birth certificate, Melania had stepped in to calm the waters and again when Trump was caught on tape speaking of grabbing women’s genitalia in rather uncouth manners, she was there to support and try to rationalize his actions.
That has not been the case now though as Melania has remained silent on the matter. Reports indicate that she was blindsided by this latest allegation and it may very well be the last straw that breaks the camel’s back.
The first lady will be making her first public appearance on Tuesday. According to the White House, she would attend Mr. Trump’s State of the Union address, typically the most high-profile appearance of the year for first ladies.
A spokeswoman for Mrs. Trump confirmed Melania’s attendance saying; “That is the plan,”
