Lionel Messi grabbed two goals to inspire Barcelona’s 3-0 bashing of Chelsea in the return leg of round-16 in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Barcelona’s €105 million signing, Ousmane Dembele also grabbed a goal either side of Messi’s double.
Antonio Conte’s men were prevented from their characteristic tactic of defending deep and trying to catch the Catalans on the counter attack after a third-minute Messi goal.
With the victory, Barcelona join Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Sevilla, Manchester City, Liverpool, Juventus, AS Roma in the quarter finals of the competition.
