A group of Syrian rebels were accidentally blown up in a video footage which surfaced online after a member of the group attempted to take a selfie using a phone rigged with bomb.
The footage showed a total of eight men gathered around a camera with a rebel flag to their back which suggests they belong to the Free Syrian Army.
The 30-seconds long clip showed one of the rebels with a phone in hand attempting to take a group selfie but was blown up as he hit a button on the phone.
Following the explosion, the rebels were heard shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ as the camera pointed up and out of focus.
