A new groom has been left shocked and confused after realising that he married his granddaughter.
The couple made this shocking discovery three months ago, after tying the knot.
They both discovered that the man’s estranged son is the father of the bride, when they were flicking through a photo album.
The man whose first marriage crumbled on a sad note paid private investigators to help him find his children as his ex wife left with them in anger after the marriage had collapsed.
He was unable to find the children as the private investigators were of little help. The man moved on to marry another wife and had more children. However, this marriage did not last long before they both went their separate ways.
Years later, he participated in a lottery and won millions of dollars, his life changed and he began to feel incomplete and lonely. The only ones who visited were his ex wife and the children.
The man signed up to a dating site, where he met his new wife who later turned out to be his granddaughter. He proposed to the lady on New-year’s Eve after they met and had dated for a while.
The 64 year old millionaire, who doesn’t want his name mentioned has said he has no plans to divorce his wife as he already has two failed marriages behind him.
He told Florida Sun post: “it was like a sense of deja vu, but at the same time I couldn’t figure out why she seemed so familiar. ”
The bride has this to say: “when I saw my father in that photo album, I just felt an overwhelming sense of despair.”
