Ministries with the highest allocation for the 2020 Budget

On Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari presented the 2020  budget of N10.729 trillion to the joint session of the National Assembly for approval for the 2020 fiscal year.

The 2020 Budget was read by the President, and it was clear that some ministries had witnessed huge changes in their budget, in comparison to 2019 budget.

Below is the Budget, with its respective allocations:

  1. Works and Housing -N262bn
  2. Transportation – N123bn
  3. UBEC – N112bn
  4. Defence – N100bn
  5. Agriculture – N83bn
  6. Water -N82bn
  7. Niger Delta – N81bn
  8. Education – N48bn
  9. Health – N46bn
  10. NEDC – N38bn
  11. SIP – N30bn
  12. FCT – N28bn
