It was almost another embarrassing night for champions league leaders, Liverpool as they blew a three-goal lead to allow Red Bull Salzburg back into the game leaving the fans with their heart in their mouth for most of the second half of the game.

The visitors were trailing in the game at half time but whatever coach Jesse Marsch told his team worked a treat has they came out firing in all cylinders and nearly staged a comeback that would have been one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the champions league.

The home fans looked glum and bewildered, Jurgen Klopp couldn’t believe his eyes but one name stood out tall from the Liverpool camp for a reason and on a night when his team needed someone to carry them over the line, the man Mo Salah stepped up and latched on to a Roberto Firmino’s header, scored with a fierce strike and again shows why he is elevated to one of the very best in the world along the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
