Amelia Di Stasio, a 23-year-old mother, has been arrested by the police for allegedly setting her autistic son, Antonio, on fire in the bathtub of their home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The police revealed that the child’s arms and legs had been tied to his hands with seven belts and a plastic bag laced over his head.
According to reports, the woman was later found by the police waking down the street after the crime, upon interrogation, she denied being the child’s mother saying many people looked like her.
Neighbors said in the days leading to Antonio’s death, they heard the little boy pleading to his mother to stop hurting him.
