Mourinho Still Hasn’t Forgiven Aguero for Fellaini Red Card 18 Months Ago

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho still hasn’t forgotten how Sergio Aguero allegedly got Maroune Fellaini sent off

The two Manchester teams face off in a cracker that could go some way in deciding who could go on to win the title

The match was 18 months ago and Mourinho believes that Aguero rolled theatrically and this in turn got the Belgian sent off.

After that match, Mourinho had said:  “If Sergio doesn’t go to the floor for sure it’s not a red card.”

And speaking ahead of the game, it’s clear that the Portuguese manager hasn’t forgotten

“There are little things in his game that I am not a big fan. I keep (the reasons) for me,”

“I admire him because of his fantastic qualities. Clearly the numbers speak for themselves. He is a goalscorer all over the world. It is not about scoring for one season, it is about scoring goals in your career.

“Martin Atkinson told me in his opinion it’s a red card but I saw Aguero in the tunnel but no broken head, no broken nose, his face is nice as always.”

Manchester City have garnered 29 points out of a possible 33 and look to be in good shape to retain their Premier League crown.

Meanwhile, Manchester United won’t feel too scared as they successfully navigated an European game against Juventus coming from behind to win that game.
