Popular comedian and actor, Debo Adedayo aka Mr Macaroni, has donated N500,000 to the family of Jumoke Oyeleke, the 25-year-old lady killed during the Yoruba Nation protest in Ojota, Lagos on July 3.

Mr Macaroni made the disclosure via his Twitter handle on Saturday, adding that he paid a condolence visit on the family.

Jumoke, who worked as a sales girl, was displaying her wares at her boss’s shop close to the Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojota, Lagos, when she was allegedly felled by a stray bullet.

However, the Nigeria Police Force denied that its personnel fired any shot at the venue.

Mr Macaroni wrote, “I visited the family of the late Jumoke Oyeleke; the 25yrs old that was killed during the Yoruba Nation Rally. They need all the support they can get right now. I have donated N500,000 today and I plead with all those who can to kindly support the family.”

He also shared the link to a crowdfunding campaign on Naija Fund so that Good Samaritans can donate to support the grieving family.
