The wife of the President Mrs Aisha Buhari, has urged Nigerian women to champion unity as a means of national development among different ethic groups in Nigeria.
Mrs Buhari gave the advise on Sunday through her tweeter handle in commemoration of Nigeria’s 57th independence anniversary in Abuja.
She also advised women, as mothers, to always encourage their children to be proactive by appreciating the country’s diversity.
” As Nigeria marks 57th independence anniversary, I urge women as mothers to be the champions of national unity by encouraging our children to be proactive and embrace our diversity.
” We should also continue to pray for a nation bound in peace and unity” she said.
