With the battle with the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) raging over the minimum wage, the Governors of the nation have said it is impossible

Nigeria Governors Forum, which is comprised of Governors from all over the country, had a meeting and there it was agreed on that N30,000 as the starting point for salaries would be unsustainable.

The forum said that shelling that amount of money would lead to a collapse of states and that it’d bankrupt the state coffers.

They also stated that with this decision, a talk has to be had with President Buhari who is central to any plans involving minimum wage
