Controversial Nigerian artiste, Naira Marley has appealed to women to make their own money rather than depending on men for their livelihood.
He made the appeal in a tweet on Wednesday.
Naira Marley said that making their own money would save women from men who demand sexual gratification for favours.
“Girls make your own money it will save you from unnecessary sex,” he wrote to his 1.7 million followers on Twitter.

Naira Marley, who has a cult-like following especially among millennials, is known to regularly post controversial content on social media.
On Tuesday, he wrote, “I hope ur day is as nice as ur butt.”
In yet another post, he made light of his constant brushes with the law by writing: “When I saw myself trending I thought I was wanted again or something haaa.”
