NANS Extol Lawmakers For Extending The Years Of Validation Of JAMB

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has extolled the decision of Nigeria lawmakers to extend the years of validation of JAMB for three academic years instead of the normal one year.

In a press release on Friday by the President of NANS, Comrade Chinonso Obasi, he said that the genuine effort to get rid of yearly extortion of Nigerian students through Post-UTME by some higher institutions is an adorable decision as it will relieve Nigerian Students of financial hardship they experience every years from those higher institutions.

He further acknowledges and appreciates the effort of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Deputy Senate President, Ike Enweremadu for always being on the side of Nigerian masses.

EXTENSION OF JAMB TO THREE YEARS; A POSITIVE DECISION

The decision of Nigeria lawmakers to extend the years of validation of JAMB is such a welcome development on the part of Nigerian Students and their parents.

The Senate accepted the bill that sought to make the usefulness of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination last for 3 academic years instead of the normal 1 year. This decision is generally welcomed because it is capable of easing the burden of Nigerian Students and their sponsors.

The psychological nervousness of students preparing for JAMB every year is eliminated. Also, the unnecessary wastage of funds by the students and their parent is exterminated with this sole decision of the Senate.

Also, the genuine effort to get rid of yearly extortion of Nigerian students through Post-UTME by some higher institutions is also an adorable decision. This will relieve Nigerian Students of financial hardship they experience every years from those higher institutions.

Nigerian Students in furtherance acknowledge and appreciate the effort of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Deputy Senate President, Ike Enweremadu for always being in the side of Nigerian masses. Your names are written in the positive book of the history of Nigerian Students.
