NASS Invasion: Fani-Kayode Makes Revelation About Lawal Daura’s Whereabouts

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has made a shocking revelation about the whereabouts of sacked Director General of the Department of State Security (DSS), Lawal Musa Daura.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, the controversial ex-minister debunked reports that Daura was in the custody of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

He also described as untrue insinuations that Daura was disgraced and humiliated.

He said, “I can confirm that it is not true that Daura was taken to SARS. It is not true that he is in police custody. It is not true that he has been disgraced and humiliated. I can also confirm that something frightful is brewing in our country and we must all be prayerful and vigilant.”

Recall that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo sacked Daura on Tuesday after DSS agents invaded the National Assembly Complex and prevented lawmakers and staff from assessing the chambers and their offices respectively.

Osinbajo had condemned the invasion and ordered Daura to hand over to the most senior officer in the DSS.

Matthew Seiyefa, an indigene of Bayelsa, has since taken over from Daura, who is regarded by many as part of the “Aso Rock Cabal” which First Lady Aisha Buhari said had hijacked President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
