Ventura Sheriff, Bill Ayub has disclosed that there is no sign of foul play or suicide in the death of glee star, Naya Rivera. Sadly she died by accidental drowning.

During a press conference, the sheriff of Ventura County Sheriff’s Department said that Naya Rivera was found in Lake Piru during the ongoing recovery mission to locate her body. She was discovered on the morning of July 13.

The sheriff revealed that investigators used FaceTime calls Naya had with family members to help focus their search, along with speaking to other people who rented boats the day she went missing and saw her on the water, prior to her disappearance.

Investigators believe that the strong current of the lake that day attributed to Naya’s death.

Her body will be taken to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy and positive identification.
