NDLEA Injected Fela In custody, Sowore must be careful – Dede Mabiaku

Dede Mabiaku , former bandmate of Africa Music Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti has accused the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) of ejecting Fela with the poisonous substance that eventually killed him.

Dede made this known in an interview with ObjecTV. According to him, The late Singer confided in him and one of his sons, Seun Kuti that NDLEA operatives injected him with an unknown substance when he was in their custody.  “They chuk* me something” Chuk is Nigerian slang for “Inject”

His sickness began after he left their custody and his health started to deteriorate till he died. 

Dede seized the opportunity to warn Sowore against the same unfortunate fate befalling him. He advised the embattled Journalist to immediately go for a proper medical check-up when he regains freedom.

Omoyele Sowore has been in detention since Aug 3, 2019. He has been charged with treasonable felony, cyber stalking amongst other charges.
