In the wake of the cash crunch in the country, a customer collapsed and died at a branch of First Bank in Agbor, Delta state after waiting for several hours to withdraw cash.
A photo of the victim that circulated on the internet on Thursday showed him laying flat on the ground surrounded by sympathisers.
An eyewitness, Omole Mike, shared the photo on his Facebook page.
Omole said that the victim slumped in his presence at 1:30pm.
“Just now, right in my presence. at about 1:30pm. Somebody collapsed and died in First bank of Nigeria Agbor Branch.
“The date is on 02-02-2023. May his Soul Rest in Peace. It is well,” Omole said.
