Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar is eyeing a return to former club Barcelona despite a successful first season in France, according to reports in Spain.

The 26-year-old Brazilian has netted 32 times in 35 appearances for the Parisiens but is unhappy at the club, Mundo Deportivo reported.

Neymar was said to have immediately begun to regret the move after completing a world-record transfer from Barcelona, where he netted 105 times in 186 appearances between 2013 and 2017.

The emergence of Kylian Mbappe has also reportedly further unsettled Neymar, who believes the young Frenchman is taking the spotlight away from him.

Also, the report states that Neymar feels targeted by the opposition defenders in Lique 1.

Neymar is said to be seeking a move back to Camp Nou which Barcelona leadership is said to be reluctant about.

The club’s reluctance is believed to be inspired by the recent brilliant form of Ousmane Dembele, who was signed from Borussia Dortmund to replace him.

With Barcelona reluctant to bring him back to Spain, Neymar could well be the subject of a big-money transfer from Real Madrid.
