The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has declared that the country will never procure the services of a local coach again following the circumstances surrounding the resignation of Sunday Oliseh, the former Super Eagles Coach.

Amaju Pinnick, the NFF President at the 18th Annual Africa Business Conference of the Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, United States disclosed this while entertaining questions.

Following Oliseh’s resignation, the NFF has appointed Samson Siasia and Emmanuel Amuneke take charge of the team temporarily and recent reports indicate that the NFF is looking to sign Sredojevic Milutin, alias Micho who they’ve already been in talks with side the CHAN in Rwanda.

“After this Sunday Oliseh debacle, we have definitely turned the corner. We are now going to start shopping for a well grounded and qualified foreign coach to tinker the team. Enough is enough.

“What we have learnt is that there is a world of difference between being a good coach and being a good manager.”
