The first episode of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Queen Radio’ premiered last night on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio. Naturally, because it’s Nicki, the episode featured a surprise. Minaj’s new album Queen is coming later today.
She says that it will arrive at 12 p.m. EST which is 5pm for us Brits. She announced the album which had previously been scheduled to arrive both today and on Aug 17th would be coming out on her first ever radio show.
Minaj later went on to mention that she had finished the record just three hours before coming on air “I was gonna play the album right now but someone fucked up,” she said. “It’s a lot of corporate drama in here.”
Queen includes Minaj’s recent singles ‘Rich Sex’ (featuring Lil Wayne), ‘Bed’ (featuring Ariana Grande), and ‘Chun-Li’ – take a listen to the latter below.
